Psalm 27: 1: "The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life whom shall I be afraid."

This scripture describes for me the divine courage that each member of our team has displayed. As you have read in previous days of the places that we have been, the people we have met and how God has sustained and protected us. I am reminded of the "Great Commission" when I see daily how the Lord has equipped each of us to do His work and to show His Love. We are truly out of our comfort zones but the Holy Spirit brings comfort to us daily. We had oatmeal for breakfast!

After clinic today, we visited the Myung Christian Medical Center. Let me share with you a "quote from the Director:" We praise and thank God for leading us and helping us to establish the Muyngsung Christian Medical Center in Ethiopia." When I read this I thought, "wow, a Korean Christian Medical Center in Ethiopia!" Here's another amazing example of living out the Great Commission. God always keeps His promises and for us He has truly been with us. In closing I would like to share a poem that I wrote in 2004 titled "Service." As you read it ask the Lord to reveal to you how you can serve others in need whether locally or abroad.

SERVICE

Must I
Sit in my corner space
Tucked in my home
Cushioned in my easy chair
Hidden from the unpleasant woes of this world Untouched, Undisturbed with no pain to bear No!
A charge to keep have I
A God to glorify
Comfort is such a selfish place
When there is so much work to do
Strength I need, Courage I need
To follow my Master's lead
He died on Calvary you know
He leads me to the cross I must bear
Comfort is such a selfish place when
There is so much work to do.
