Arms of Love International is a Christian organization that cares for children in developing countries who are orphaned, abandoned, or abused, who have been living on the streets or who are at risk of living on the streets.

Some of the organization’s core values:

» Each child should have the opportunity to know God, experience His love, and develop a life-long relationship with Him.

» Each child should have the opportunity to develop to his or her fullest potential.

» Each child is entitled to certain basic human rights, which include the inherent right to life; the right to an education; the right to protection against all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation; and the right to a standard of living adequate for the child’s physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development.

Unlike other programs which provide supplemental care for children in poverty (which is another effective way of helping children at risk), Arms of Love operates homes which meet all of a child’s basic needs: three good meals each day, clothing, education and health care.
